AmeriCorps Update

Yayyyy got my Welcome Packet! Haha it doesn't actually mean "welcome to AmeriCorps", more like: "you are welcome to try to join us". Haha. :) It has three parts: an online survey, fingerprint card, and mental health/physical screening fill-out sheet. I did the survey and fill-out sheet last night, and will walk in the Copperas Cove PD to get myself fingerprinted (only $6, yay!) this week. Then I can send in the prepaid envelope and wait some more! :)

Remember, I'm already waitlisted, so once I pass the fingerprinting, I'll be on the short list. Hopefully my bingo number will be called! (Haha - that's what this selection process feels like!) Also, word on the street is that the only two campuses that are open for Winter 2012 (the term I am applying for, beginning in February) are in Iowa and Maryland. Hmmmmm!
